About This Course

This course introduces the fundamental concepts of real numbers and sequences. Students will study the properties of the real number system, intervals, absolute value, inequalities, and mathematical induction. The course also covers numerical sequences, convergence, boundedness, monotonicity, and the basic theorems related to limits of sequences.

By the end of this course, students will be able to understand the structure of the real numbers, analyze the behavior of sequences, determine their convergence, and apply these concepts to solve mathematical problems.

Prerequisites

In order to understand the module, it is recommended that learners have knowledge. We recommend the configuration: ✅ Basic mahematical concepts such as set of numbers, inequalities and equations, absolute value,... ✅ Logical issues and their analysis in appropriate manner. ✅ Different proof techniques and their application. ✅ Arithmetic and geometric sequences, and their applications. ✅ Functions and calculation of limits.
